With the JOLLY model the MASCHIO company enters the maintenance sector for green areas, sports grounds, parks and gardens. The JOLLY lawn mower is available with side or rear discharge, front or rear mounting, mulching kit (as optional equipment), and 4 different working widths: 120, 150, 180 and 210 cm.

It reduces the maintenance costs of green areas. After the grass has been finely cut, it is scattered over the lawn/ field to become an excellent natural soil improver able to keep the ground at the right moisture level.

The horizontal-blade cutting discs of the MASCHIO Jolly model may be equipped with a mulching kit. The kit assembly diagram for the lawn mower with rear or side discharge is shown below. The mulching kit provides an additional blade, to be fitted at right-angles to the first blade, and a set of delimiting strips.

After the grass has been cut with the main blade, it floats on the vortex produced by the blades and undergoes a grinding action produced by the cutting edge on the secondary blade. This action continues for as long as the grass fragments have a large enough surface to float. After being repeatedly cut by the blades, the grass falls on the turf to undergo organic decomposition.
